He is responsible for underwriting speciality lines such as Political Violence & Terrorism, Contingency, and Casualty risks. Starting his career in India, Snehal moved to the Middle East, where he honed his skills for over 13 years, gaining extensive experience in the regional and global insurance market.

Snehal holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Insurance from MET, Mumbai, and is an Associate Member of the Insurance Institute of India.

He has specialised expertise in underwriting commercial risks globally, including property, engineering, political violence, terrorism, and specialty exposures. As part of his role at Specialty MGA, he monitors existing treaties for performance, manages relationships with ceding companies and brokers, ensures proper documentation and compliance, and stays current on market trends and catastrophe modelling.

He has successfully cultivated strategic relationships with leading global brokers such as Aon, Marsh, Guy Capenter, Gallagher, Willis Towers Watson, Lockton and UIB, delivering comprehensive risk solutions across property, motor, liability, and health lines for major cedants.

Niraj has 10+ years of industry experience, with extensive international exposure through Allianz Group operations in India.

Niraj holds a Master’s in Insurance and Risk Management from Bayes Business School, London (formerly Cass Business School), along with an Associate degree conferred by the Insurance Institute of India and is currently working towards ACII qualifications.
